  • I believe President Obama is what is needed I mean i don't live in the US but I stay there alot with my family and i feel Obama is sincere and would do his best to help the LGBT community as a LGBT committee member here in London I whole heatedly support the victory of President Obama. He is strong confident fresh positive supportive and a black history landmark.

style because they aren't living it ur not going to get everything u want. So if ur expacting people like Obama, Clinton, McClain or who ever to change something they never went through or ever going to go through then ur going to get let down everytime. We the LGBT community need someone that knows the pain we go through because of our life style because they are living it. So all I'm saying we need to be like thoese people back then and come together and demand change instead of asking for it.

I know I'm a little late but i think by us (black or White) being gay or what every u want to call it put ourselves in a whole other group so we need to stick together and fight this together. Not to get off subject but for example: back in the civil rights era black people and white got tried of other people talking for them so they showed some action to let the people in high places know that they demand a change. Just sitting here waiting for someone that doesn't know anything about the life

black ppl need to learn how to stand up for each other instead of beating each other up or going aganist one another. That's the problem that we have and it's sad.

Why wouldn't you want a Black President? Obama sounds like he want to do something with this country. You have to be honest this world is FUCKED UP!! And of course not all blk ppl r suffering. LAYMAN'S TERMS....I was speakin on our struggle as a whole. We are not the only ones suffering...POVERTY does not only affect our neighborhoods, im not a fuckn fool! I KNO! Im so dun with this conversation cuz clearly ur pickin out what u wanna fuss about. Anybody with sense would grasp the concept of what im sayin! Thanks for ur input, but I really didnt need it!
  • Mr Detroit
Those who think logically dont have to have it put in laymen's terms. I am NOT holding all white ppl accountable. I am not sayn they all want to c us fail. was I not speaking about this PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION? In which, this election has everything to do with RACE! Or is it jus coincidental that we've never had a minority president?? If u GOOGLE new world order/Illuminati, u WILL find NONE of the world's leaders are blk...or minority. The presidential election is deeper then jus the surface. And
  • know and don't know. And you may not be prejudice but you sure basing your opinion on a stereotype of white ppl. I hate to hurt your feelings but not every white person is out to oppress us just as, not every black is jobless and uneducated. If you don't want ppl thinking you are prejudiced, I suggest you reword the way you feel.

  • I am not misinformed. I am very much EXPERIENCED dear. I live in a small and closed-minded town in southern Georgia. I see and hear it everyday therefore I don't have to google shit. I can just go to school and watch the black kids that cuss out white girls for looking at them wrong and has never seen the girl before. I've also had two of my black friends talked about because they earned just about every community scholarship. It's both ways around. So you might wanna think again about what I

lol im not prejudice at all its jus how I feel. love it or hate it! but the facts r there...shyt google it! if u can't read, youtube it! ur jus misinformed but its not ur fault...its ok.
  • I agree with every point that Little Buddah Baby has made. Mr. Detroit, you cast a bad shadow OUR race by the way you worded your opinion and it's sad to say that a lot of other African Americans feel that way. Our race is quick to blame things on other races but some of us are just as prejudiced.

The issue that's being presented here is the Homophobia issue. the LGBT agenda regarding Gay Marriage & Equal Rights. Why is it so hard for people to narrow down to the topic and just start jumping off elsewhere when Obama addresses those issues in other blogs. DowneLink is a website that caters to the LGBT needs----therefore this video makes an outstanding importance for Gay and Lesbian people. If you want to hear Obama's other points in economy and war and jobs and schools---try elsewhere.
  • and those sanctions have existed through the ages just fine. Gay rights in America IS a severe issue because what other country (don't try it, I've lived in 13 and have been openly gay in ALL OF THEM) has such "spelled out" discriminatory bills, pledges, and laws against them? Some do, that are HIGHLY religious, but that, too, is another point. Regardless, unless YOU are in the face of the other so called more important issues, they are irrelevant to the ones concerning gay marriage.

  • You all are simple -- every economy suffers through loss of jobs -- there are equal opportunity laws and rights for education -- and the war that the U.S. is currently in IS a joke. I don't care -- my mother was in Iraq 4 times. Each time for no-good-reason. If you think this war has a point, that is another issue, but it does not take precedence over any other liberal issues America is being challenged with. Married straight couples don't always have jobs, a high education, or are active duty

and for reference...make a damned WILL therefore in the event of ur demise.....everything u have could go to ur significant other...including the care of your child...that way everything is spelled out....i mean...there are loop holes around everything....take the time to try to find it and use them...learn the system to beat the system.... if u care so much about those 2 things....theres an answer for right now while we get the important things in order for that 2 occur. ...

and education!!!!!! not to say that marriage and equal rights aren't important....but it pales in comparison to those three.....i want the same rights as the hetero couple....but i a job, a good economy, the war in Iraq and education would be the most important to me. wats the point in the benefits when u have NONE TO SHARE?! but i digress....
